General Rental Terms

Group rates require 10+ guests renting equipment with a single payer.

Ski Celebration reserves the right to require a refundable security deposit (or a credit card number on file) as a condition to rent equipment.  Any deposit must be received prior to the release of equipment to any person.  Any person renting and/or using equipment must complete a rental form and sign our waiver and release of claims form.  Any person under the age of 18, using equipment must have their rental form cosigned by a parent or legal guardian.

Equipment not returned by the agreed upon time is subject to charges any additional rental days incurred. Renters losing equipment will be charged the cost of replacing the lost equipment.  A list of current replacement costs is posted in the store.

The collection Sales and Use Tax may only be waived if the guest presents a fully completed and signed Sales Tax Exemption Form Prior to the time of Purchase that appears to be genuine. A copy of the government identification document used to verify the identity of the person requesting the exemption for Sales and Use Tax must be kept in a file with the completed and signed Exemption Certificate for a period of at least 5 years from the date of the transaction(s).

Additional Terms and Conditions for Beech Mountain NC Rentals

*Half Day rentals are for one of the following sessions:   9:00am-1:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm, or 5pm-close. 

All day rentals may be picked up after 3:00 PM the day before the first rental day. Half Day rentals may be picked up no earlier than 2 hours prior to their session opens on the day of rental.   

Rentals are due back no later than one hour after the slopes close for the day (or one hour after their session ends for Half-Day Rentals).  All Day Rentals (or Half Day Rentals for the 5pm-close session) may be extended until 8:30AM the next morning for no additional charge, if arranged in advance.  Late returns require sufficient remaining inventory levels and manager approval.

All Beech Mountain rentals are subject to North Carolina Sales and Use Tax (currently 6.75%) which is not included in the prices listed. 

Additional Terms and Conditions for Winterplace, WV Rentals

Guests staying at the Winterhaven Condos receive Group Rate regardless of the number of guests.

All day rentals may be picked up after 3:00 PM the day before the first rental day. Half Day rentals may be picked up no earlier than 2pm on the day of rental.
